Terms and conditions
These terms cover this website, the waitlist, and founding partner applications. They are short because the product is not generally available yet, and paid access will be governed by a separate signed agreement.
1. Agreeing to these terms
This website is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. In these terms, "we", "us", and "SpendTower" mean that company, and "you" means the person using the site.
By using this website, joining the waitlist, or submitting a founding partner application, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these terms.
2. What SpendTower is today
SpendTower is not generally available. This website describes a product under active development, together with a demo built from illustrative figures. Nothing here is an offer to supply the product, and nothing here creates a commitment to deliver any particular feature by any particular date.
Statements on this site about what SpendTower will do, including roadmap items, accuracy targets, and timing, are current intentions rather than promises. They may change as we learn from our first customers, which is rather the point of taking on founding partners.
3. Who may use the site
This site is intended for business use by people aged 18 or over. By submitting a form you confirm that you are at least 18, that the details you give are accurate, and that where you provide a company name you are authorised to express interest on that company's behalf. Expressing interest does not bind your employer to anything.
4. Waitlist and applications
- Joining the waitlist or applying as a founding partner registers your interest. It does not create a contract, guarantee access, or guarantee a place in any cohort.
- We may decide who to admit, and in what order, at our discretion. We may also decline an application without giving a reason.
- We will contact you about SpendTower using the details you give. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying or writing to hello@spendtower.com.
- Please do not submit confidential information through our forms. The free-text field is for context, not for anything sensitive.
5. The founding partner offer
We describe the founding partner offer as a full year of SpendTower at no cost, together with direct access to the team and influence over the roadmap. To be clear about what that is and is not:
- The offer takes effect only once both sides sign a separate written agreement. That agreement, not this page, sets out the actual terms, including when the free year starts and what happens at the end of it.
- The free period begins when your account is provisioned, not when you apply or when you are accepted.
- The cohort is limited in size, and we may close it at any time.
- Founding partnership involves giving us feedback. It does not oblige you to give a testimonial, a reference, or the use of your company's name or logo. We will always ask separately for those, and no is a complete answer.
6. Acceptable use
Please use this site in a way that does not spoil it for anyone else. In particular, do not:
- Submit false details, impersonate another person or company, or submit forms in bulk or by automated means.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, our infrastructure, or our data.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site except as described in the responsible disclosure note in our privacy policy.
- Interfere with the site's availability, including by overloading it.
- Scrape or copy the site's content for a competing commercial purpose.
We may restrict or block access where we reasonably believe this section is being breached.
7. Intellectual property
The SpendTower name, logo, site design, copy, and product materials belong to us or to our licensors. You may read, print, and share this site's pages for your own evaluation, including internally within your organisation. You may not republish our content commercially, present it as your own, or use our name or logo to suggest an endorsement or a partnership that does not exist.
If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you agree we may use them to improve SpendTower without owing you payment or attribution. We will not treat feedback as confidential unless we have separately agreed to.
8. Demo and illustrative figures
Every figure in our demo, walkthrough, and home page illustration, including all figures attributed to "Northwind", is fictional and exists to explain the product clearly. Northwind is not a real company and none of those numbers come from a customer account.
Savings percentages, accuracy tradeoffs, forecast accuracy, and reconciliation targets shown on this site are illustrations and targets. They are not a guarantee of the results you will get, which will depend on your own workloads, models, and providers.
9. Third party links and services
This site links to third party services, including our scheduling provider. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or conduct. Following a link is your decision.
10. Disclaimers
This website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that the information on it is complete or current at any given moment.
Nothing on this site is financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Decisions about your AI spend remain yours.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
11. Limitation of liability
Subject to section 10, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, or data, arising from your use of this website.
This section concerns the website and the waitlist only. Liability in respect of the product itself will be dealt with in the separate written agreement that governs your use of it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW JURISDICTION], and the courts of [COURTS AND VENUE] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and the company develop. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published here when you use the site. If a change is significant and we hold your contact details, we will tell you rather than relying on you rereading the page.
